March Mental Health First Aid Training


Mental Health First Aid is an in-person training that teaches you how to help people developing a mental illness or in a crisis.

Mental Health First Aid teaches you:

Signs of addictions and mental illnesses

5-step action plan to assess a situation and help

Impact of mental and substance use disorders

Local resources and where to turn for help

Training takes place at the San Joaquin Pride Center (109 N. Sutter St.) Registration is required. Attendance both days is mandatory in order to receive your certification. 



Saturday, March 28th Noon to 4 pm

Sunday, March 29th 2 pm to 6 pm

Refreshments and snacks provided. 

 This is a free training class made courtesy of San Joaquin Pride Center and San Joaquin County Behavioral Health.
